1955 Willys Jeep M38A 1.

Readily identifiable thanks to its `round fender’ design, the M38A1 was only made from 1975-1957 but remained in military service until the 1970’s. We purchased the Willys in 2013 for a showroom display, with the intention of fully restoring her, however we decided to leave it, as cosmetically she had a more original look, but now sadly it is time to sell, to make way for new stock.

The previous keeper had the Jeep for 14 years and before that it shows two former keepers on its UK V5C registration document. ‘XVS 627’ has had the benefit of new springs all round and a thorough powerplant overhaul by Engine Services of Sheffield prior to our ownership (which reputedly cost some £1100) the engine runs great and in June this year all brakes were overhauled, fitting new brake cylinders and front shoes. Comes with full canvas top and side curtains. Excellent restoration project. I would describe her as in fair condition for being 64 years old and will only be going up in value, own a part of America History.

Price: £9,750
